Ohh!!!!!
My teeth are falling out! Yeeeeek! [Bad username: rickybuchanan>, my human, found one in her bed and got all upset and worried and rang up the VET (<TT>*shudder*</TT>, luckily I didn't have to listen!) and she said that even <STRONG>more</STRONG> might fall out and it was normal and they were my baby teeth and <lj user=] should be pleased she's looking after me so well because the tooth was all healthy and shiny and good! Isn't she clever? The VET (*shudder some more*) said its because of my chicken!!!! Fancy that, my favourite food is good for my teeth too!!! I love them bones and crunching them up. Mmmmmm, raw chicken bones! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Ricky was all jealous and muttered something about how her favourite food should be good for teeth too, but I didn't hear her properly over the bones going crunch.

Do you think this means I might get chicken EVERY day? *hopeful look*

I'm glad I'm not sick, though, with the teeth thing. I would hate to go sese that VET person *quickly hides under the bed*.

i think chicken bones are *really* bad for the digestive tracks of cats & dogs (from what i remember being told a long time ago...)

don't delete this without letting your human read it first :) i know you like chicken hehe.

I have checked with the vets and chicken bones are bad for big dogs 'cause they swallow them whole. And cooked chicken bones are bad for cats because they splinter. But raw chicken bones are actually really good for cats, they clean their teeth as they get crunched up.

I know it sounds weird, it took me 2 vets before I actually believed that him crunching up the chicken wing bones was a GOOD thing, but it is. Trust me, I'm a cat owner *wink*

well, even if chicken is good for you, you need to eat other foods as well. cat food, from a can or a bag, is specially made with all the vitamins and minerals and other things that combine to form what humans call a "balanced diet", so you don't develop a shortage of something. so you probably can have chicken every day, just as long as you don't eat nothing but chicken every day. (most cats seem to love fish, but my Loki won't eat anything with fish in it. however, he loves chopped black olives! there's a reason he's named after the Norse god of chaos...)

My kitties like chicken wings too, but they have this bad habit of leaving the remains in the walkway and treading on slimy half chewed chicken wings is not my fave feeling.

I'm very generous with [Unknown LJ tag], my human. I give her my chicken wing lots of times in case she wants some! And when she has to get up to go to the bathroom I sit where she lies down and keep it warm for her, while I'm eating my chicken!

She must like me lots too, because we play the Chicken Game where I bring her the chicken and she throws it so I can fetch it for her! And I'm so good at the game! I fetch it real quick and give it back to her, in case she misses it. And she likes the game because she throws it again for me!

Gosh I'm Wonderful!

You sure are wonderful :) And my cats are envying you lots because they never get raw chicken.. here in Italy we do have big problems with salmonellosis, and raw poultry is something which has to be avoided at any cost :( .
